held. She cried until you picked her up but then would stop immediately.

This past weekend, the little girl died at only 4 months old. She was found not breathing and cold to the touch, by a neighbor that heard the boy’s crying. The mom was asleep on the bed “blacked out” from a night of intoxication… When I heard this news, I could not help but mourn for the baby girl and wonder with angst about her brother, his well-being, and the lifelong effects he will undoubtedly have from the loss of his sister. My heart has welled up with tears…
